haha, sorry about that.

never was good at grammer

That’s cool. We all make typos.

I played the beta. It played nothing like CoD.

It seems like you just watched the halo follower video and posted it here. No offense, but I found it funny that your grammar was just as childlike and inconsistent as his commentary and information in his videos.

is that a website?

That’s not cool, man.

Oh wait, I’m sorry, I didn’t see the “No Offense” … my bad. Carry on.

facepalm

I didn’t mean it as an insult, but the parallel made me laugh.

Well naw sh*t. Didn’t need Holmes to tell me that

Any reasonable person already knows Halo 5 is nothing like CoD.

I wanna put that on a bumper sticker

Even Halo 4 wasn’t like COD.

It doesn’t play like CoD, but it doesn’t shine amongst the other shooters. With all the “modern” features, the game just seems soooo bland. Going back to the trilogy after the bat was a colorful roller coaster amongst everything else these days.

Look at it this way: by the end of the year, there will be five Halo games on the Xbox One. There’ll be 3 games for you guys to enjoy (the original trilogy) and 2 games for those who prefer modern Halo. (and 5 games for me to enjoy because I love them all. Lucky me, huh?) And they’re all going to be there for entire life span of this generation.

Yeah, and Bungie said Reach would be classic Halo. 343 said the same thing about Halo 4. Unsupported statements are meaningless.

The statement is supported by the Halo 5 public beta, which I see you did not participate in.

That does not help at all. What if we want an new Halo with upgrades, that stays 100% true to the mechanics, with none of this “modern” stuff. Are we just to be abandoned by our mother franchise? Given up for a new crowd that will likely not be nearly as loyal, a crowd that didn’t help build up this franchise (I know that you’re a vet like me, but most of the supporters are relatively new to the franchise).

Look, if you want a modern shooter, there are plenty of them out there, but I would like my corner of gaming to be untouched by the cancer of modern gaming and its practices. I wouldn’t mind things like an increased player cap, or more power to forgers, but Halo 5 is just to many steps in the wrong direction.
