What are you most looking forward to Joseph Staten bringing to Halo Infinite, as the Project Manager for Halo Infinite’s campaign? (HYPE!)
I hope we see some incredible cutscenes like those in Halo 3 - I get chills playing through that! Ark’s portal with all the ships is so cool.

If he stays long term I’m a happy camper, but there is no way that this is good news about the state of Infinate. You don’t bring new leadership in 3 months before it was originally going to ship if the game is in a good state.

Check the recent Waypoint post. Halo also tweeted about it. I’m so happy he’s back.
It smells like a rewrite or overhaul, it seems like infinite was in more trouble in every area more than we all really thought, however this is one the few guys who is part of the Og halo DNA , so with the time delay hopefully he can help steer the ship in the right direction.

Staten said on his twitter account “All kidding aside, please don’t expect to hear much from me. I’ve got a lot of catching up to do.” So obviously there are development issues but they should take as long as necessary in my opinion - perhaps even a 2022 delay and dropping Xbox One version - just make this the best Halo ever 343!

Lol - I thought Man of Steel wasn’t that bad. BvS sucked though. Glad DC have stopped trying to force an expanded universe - new Batman looks great!

Funny, I liked MoS but was very mixed on BvS but I think the new Batman looks like garbage! Doesn’t look like Batman at all. No comic feel… Characters wrongly portrayed and everything. I’m very interested to see how it does though… and DC is still doing there expanded universe. If anything I think there’s more hype behind it now and there ever has been. Wonder woman 2, new suicide squad, black atom, flash movie and the Snyder cut of Batman Superman. Sounds like a lot to me 
with him writinging the orignal trilogy h:reach odst and contact harvet im confidnetn infinte’s story wont be a problem the dude has the skills and the fact that hes part fo the campagin dev team makes me mroe confident in this

Well, they did release a R-rated version of the film with added scenes to explain poorly explained plotlines in the theatrical cut. So maybe something like this will happen?
Ps, I’m totally hyped for the Snyder Cut, I did not care for a lot of Justice League and how it was done.
A good campaign for once. H4’s was good other than the overkill of Chief’s character development. Less is more with Chief, and I am excited to see what Staten has in store for him.

Lot of the demo showed that truly.
The whole days after we lost was weird/unnecessary for a demo
The brute giving a minute 30 monologue (also it had terrible texture work)

Comparing Staten to Snyder is an insult to Staten. Snyder makes super hero movies for cool moments and cares nothing about the story. He even said batman kills, which is the one thing about batman the he would never do. UNLESS he was going to go into what killing would cause batman to become mentally. This was not the case a ith snyder. He’d rather ruin a character because of his view of how things work.

New batman looks 10x better than BvS. Maybe because batman will actually get a story. Batfleck only had one good fight scene in BvS.

Who convinced you it was in a good state? Look at how long it took to see gameplay. Look at the demo. Then look at it getting delayed to 2021. Good state, and nobody would’ve complained about the demo.

I mean, that could just be him making a cheeky remark since he hasn’t been part of a Halo game since Reach. I agree with the idea that Infinite may be in trouble, but I think linking this statement to it may be a step too far.

2022 sounds about right. There was so much wrong with the demo. Graphics aside, the model for the banished phantom was taken straight out of halo wars and didn’t even look like it was flying. It looked more like it was being moved on a string.
