What kinda gold are we talking about here, Xbox live Gold, gold packs, actual gold, fools gold, the “gold” up your nose?

Based on the (total lack of) context I’m going to wager my guess that this is what they’re likely referring to.

Hey John - if you query is about getting Xbox Live Gold, that’s something you would need to purchase I’m afraid. We don’t allow people asking for things like this on the forums. If you are in an eligible country you should look into Microsoft rewards, as you can build up enough points in a sort amount of time to get essentially free Xbox Live time.

If you query is about Gold REQ packs in Halo 5 - you can earn points in game that you can put towards Gold packs, you can also redeem daily login packs and sell some of your REQ items to get points and redeem packs. Make sure and start with Bronze or Silver first though until you start getting points cards back, otherwise you’re really wasting your REQ points. You can also use rewards points to get gift cards and apply that currency to your account, allowing you to buy REQ packs if you wish.
