So is it just me or does anyone else really struggle to get a ‘flow’ going if you get put into an ongoing match of Warzone? Personally, I find Warzone to be a really good mode in terms of power progression as you unlock req levels and higher perks. Each game kind of eases you in and you naturally get better and better req rewards as you get your ‘flow’ going. Unfortunately most of the time if you get dropped into a game its on the losing side because of quitters and it just immediately feels a chore to get your rhythm going and pick up the pieces from previous quitters.
I understand the join in progress and generally, I don’t disapprove, but in this progression based mode, to me it doesn’t feel right to drop in on a game already in action.
Does anyone else find this a pain or do I need to buck up and shut up
I think that bringing in players is a necessity. I do agree with you on the being behind the curve when you get put into a game. But you just have to fight on. You said it bro, buck up!
I agree with you that it’s hard to get oriented when you’re dropped into an in-progress game, but warzone has a lot of opportunities for comebacks so it’s not terrible. Plus, if you didn’t have join-in-progress on warzone it would be as bad as arena. I can’t play 2 straight games of 4v4 because there are so many quitters.
I think if you join a game in progress your req level rises faster some times getting req level 8 with out even doing any thing to get it.
I also see where you’re coming from, but my experience is the opposite. I get put on winning teams every time I JIP into a game. Of the I think 6 times it’s happened we only lost once.
As Corleone says its required, if multiple people leave a game i support the fact they wish to refill that lobby.
But i 100% agree when i join a game thats in progress i suck that round, I am a good player so unsure why but i just dont do very well.
It happens to me like a fourth of the time I try to join a warzone game
Fair responses, glad its not just me. As previously stated and advised, buck up and shut up it is
Fortunately, I have only joined two games in progress. We did lose both and I did find it hard to find a rhythm in those games due to coming in late. But I think it;'s important to be in the game to help teams recover (or survive) from quitters.
JIPs are usually a loss IME, because people don’t leave winning games. The only time you will JIP a winning game is an untimely connection loss from some poor soul on the winning team. But I fight through it, get my loser points, and go on. Just because people decide to bail on a match doesn’t mean the people stuck in it should be forced to play cat and mouse games or to wade endlessly into walls of bullets because they have no backup.
It may just be playing at war, but if you’re on my team, we’re brothers (assuming the vast majority of players are male) for that match.
