Very simply, in non-competitive gametypes, players should be able to join a game mid-progress if there is a slot free in the game and only through the friends menu.
Problems this solves:
• People hate searching for a game and being put into one which is already half over.
• People would hate it if a random irritating kid kept joining their games if there was a space.
• People want to be able to join games of friends mid-progress.
• In a competitive playlist, joining a much lower-ranked friend could upset the balance of the game.
If anyone has any issues with this I would love to know, as I can’t think of any off the top of my head.
Additionally, there could be an option when matchmaking to be able to be put into games that are already mid-progress.
I want to join my friends ‘in game’ all the time, this is how it was in CE, it was completely cool cause when someone quit, a replacement was plopped right in, whalla…
Not in ranked though, if there is a ranked anymore, LOL.
> This could work. It’d be easier not to implement the system at all though.
Well, if you saw the latest suggestion I put in the OP, you could see that this would be a very important change to the game which I believe would improve it drastically.
