One of the main things I have a problem with when i’m playing warzone is the matchmaking system putting me in games already in progress. In my opinion, this should be an option. There is usually a reason that people leave that game in the first place. Most of the time I get put in a game where we’re 3-capped and being farmed in our base. Nothing about this game has made me as mad as this feature. Especially when I use a legendary or ultra rare boost and forget to take it off before it puts me in the game. And it only makes things worse when all i’m trying to do is get my daily win. It would be great if this could just be an option in a future update.
You nailed the problem with JIP in your 3rd sentence. “There is usually a reason that people leave that game…”, except that most of those quitting do so for petty, selfish, or unrealistic reasons. All the JIP bandaids aren’t going to do a thing until the mass amount of quitters are addressed.

Sadly I don’t think there’s a reliable way to do that. Even with such an unforgiving banhammer, quitters are going to quit.
It’s also bad because the game doesn’t care if you’ve been constantly losing since it will put you in a losing game despite already being on a losing streak. That happened last night. Lost seven in a row and then it put me in a game where we were down 2 flag caps to zero and we lost shortly afterwards.
It will also put you in games against the same full parties that just destroyed you. I’ve had to dashboard on several occasions after being matched with the same full parties multiple times even though I’ve previously lost against them every time.
That losing streak was just motivation to play BF1. I’m just too sick of this matching system.
Honestly it’s the fault of the people who quit just because they don’t want to feel bad at the game. Quitting because you genuinely have to go is acceptable, but quitting when you just don’t want to finish the game is down right obnoxious for who ever has to fill your spot.
