Anyone know how to be able to join friends because it usually only works once a day and not the next day. My friends network is moderate and mine is open this problem is recent because when we first got it we joined everyday easily.
I had the same problem with some friends. We came across two fixes.
The best fix was to use an Ethernet cable instead of WiFi.
Or you can clear your MAC cache.
the second fix is temporary and only works sometimes if it doesn’t work the first time keep trying
The steps might not be 100% I’m not infront of my Xbox rn.
Go go to the settings on your Xbox home
network
advanced
alternet MAC address
then clear.
something like that. Hope it helps

I’ve done the clear Mac address and it changes my Nat type if it is ever moderate to open. But this won’t work for him so I think it’s just his internet or something.

A temp. fix until the updates for the MCC is to load up a campaign level and quit out of it. It works for my group most of the time.
I have a lot of issues playing halo 2 Coop campaign with friends.
had the problem for 2 days with the same friend. both NAT types open, etc, all the good stuff. A guess I had was to quit the game and everyone leave the chat party. we went back in and invited via the MCC friends list and it worked. (This was after other suggested methods like hard reset, hard quit, etc.) Thanks!
