-We Are Not a Group!
When you join this Clan, you will be part of our community, with that you must make yourself present on our site from time to time, but Xbox Live is by far the more important.
We are also seeking members from the UK, if you are interested in joining The Reckoning visit our site http://trhq.enjin.com
would i have to tryout to join?
No, we don’t do skill tryouts
Let me sort of expound on the no tryouts thing.
Tryouts our meaningless for multiple reasons:
-
The person trying out could be on an off day (they happen I had a horrible day yesterday).
-
The person giving the tryout could also have a horrible day (like wise).
Besides, The Reckoning doesn’t consider skill for a basis to join our community, what we are looking for are people who can:
- Stay active, in game and on our website Let me clarify this as well, we don’t expect people to play 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, or check our site every minute of every day. The purpose of our website is to provide our members with a centralized information hub, in which they can read about clan activities (such as but not limited to: Fight Nights, Tournaments, Matches, contests, etc…).
We also use our website to track activity in game, by using our attendance tracker on our site we know who is staying active in game (and it literally only takes minutes to use).
The site also brings members closer together, as it allows a free flow of ideas with a multitude of people who may be interested in the same things that you are.
We are a more than a clan, we are a community and site helps us stay connected.
As for actual gaming, we expect our members to attend those 2 mandatory practice events per week (those are team based). However, the clan itself hosts multiple events through out a given week, members aren’t required to show but besides them being a bunch of fun, it helps strengthen the community and get people out and in about to meet others in our clan.
Our primary concern and one of the major things we look at in new recruits is attitude. Even though we want to be the best clan in the Halo-sphere we aren’t willing to lower our standards and just let anyone in.
I don’t care if you are the best player in Halo, this is above all a game and a lot of us play to try and unwind after a long day at work or school. We want to come home, sit on our couch crack open some brews and play with our friends.
I don’t like being tea bagged, its irritating and half the time its done by people who didn’t even make the kill. That being said, I am not going to go around tea bagging other players, even if I did royally own them…Respect is a big part of what we are about, if you can’t respect other players, you probably wont be able to respect us…
Our tryout is a character tryout, 10 days of just us evaluating how you act, through the wins and through the losses, are you going to lose your composure, and freak out over the party chat? Things like that…
Its a pretty long explanation but hopefully it spells out what we are about…
