The Halo Customs District is a collection of gamers dedicated to hosting Halo nights and collecting a huge database of all the best maps and modes the community has to offer. We hold nights for flood, testing, generic minigames and non-standard modes.

It doesn’t matter if there are other groups that may or may not already do things similar to this.
Not all groups / clans / communities can be all things to all people.
Groups / communities are as unique as the members who comprise them.
And just as there is room for all members of the Halo community, there is room for all Halo communities themselves.
We who run clans / groups/ communities need to realize we would be best served - all of us - if we followed the rules here.
Only one thread per group.
Self bumping only once every seven days, and keeping small talk in PMs where it belongs.
Making our self bumps we execute weekly meaningful, at least 3 - 4 sentences of new information, as required.
NOT hijacking one another’s threads.
We should all want to facilitate community members finding the community best suited for them.
So, if you’ve tried 5, ten, twenty different customs groups and not liked them, you should give OP’s group a try - he just might have put together the right combination of customs group elements to make you happy.
Even if you’re happy in the customs group that you’re in right now, consider giving Halo Customs District a look. OP might be doing it better.
As community leaders let’s work together to help one another, not hurt each other. Because when we work against each other all we’re really doing is hurting the members of the community we’re trying to convince to join our groups.
Thank you for explaining what I couldn’t find the words to. I hate how people assume only one group can do a said thing and that others are not allowed to try to start their own things.
No man! Forgive me for sounding like I was trying to shut down your community but it was not my intentions at all. I just wanted to bring it to your attention that the website Halo Customs is quite similar to what you are trying to create. Not saying you shouldn’t you should always try it out. Just as Kegler73 states, you might end up doing a better job than Halo Customs! I just wanted to point it out. I’m sorry if I came across as offensive bud. Didn’t mean it. Good luck with your community bud, I’m sure it will do great.
