Where is the ban hammer? There is way too much cheating going on. halo 4 has been out for only 2 months. With in the 2nd week of halo 4’s release there has been allot players out there using hack and mods. Lag switching and stand-by and this new mod the goes by the name of aimbot. There are countless videos on youtube on how to mod weapons,melee,bullet damage on halo 2,3(Bungie swung the ban hammer on on 2 & 3),4 and reach, countless videos of players using these mods in game! halo reach was the worst I’ve seen people cheat. THE SAD PART is THAT PEOPLE PAY TOP DOLLAR FOR MODDED HARDWARE(controllers & systems)AND HACKS.
The part that bugs me the most is that these mods,hacks,etc are making these cheaters unbeatable. There was a time when cheating didn’t make you a better player
now it does… when did that happen

Since Halo 3 I’ve played somewhere in the neighborhood of 12,000 - 15,000 games in matchmaking. In those games I’ve only come across a handful of actual cheaters - and they weren’t “modders,” they were people who use DDoS attacks to hit people offline.
Cheating is not now, nor has it ever been, as rampant of a problem as most forumgoers seem to think. The plain and simple truth is that 99.999999% of the time that people think they are being “cheated” it is either just lag, or the person refuses to admit that there are people out there who are just that much better than they are.

Stated far better than I ever could. It’s funny how all these complainers never think to save the game in question and post it in their OP as proof.
I’ve never seen anything like a hacked pc game on live really, at least not that I could spot
A few times the other team came back from black screen first and I respawned with no vehicle/gun that I fought it out for but I figure that’s server/connection issues or -Yoink- host, if it is actually a problem I’m sure they’ll get to it. Some of those things are really tough to see/prove
dude your answer to this is does not surprise me at all.
to say that not one cheats or is being cheated it plain ignorance. to deny the facts of such when there is proof tons of proof at that. only the very people who use or have used in the past say that

You have never play Halo 2 then if you think that reach was bad haha.

using stand-by in halo’s past H2 made you disconnect or give host to someone else lol. also if you think reach had the worst cheaters you haven’t played halo 2 lol.
Im fairly sure we got stand by’d in my last btb game on Exile. There was a long pause on black screen after I was killed near the tank spawn then when it restarted the other team was riding around in the tank even though they werent near it when I died! We still ended up beating the cheaters somehow!
Don’t know if this counts as cheating or whether it is a bug but I have experienced a couple of times players on CTF carrying the flag and still having their AR out and being capable of using said weapons and as a result the flag is in a horizontal position, it’s annoying knowing that you just got killed at medium range by the flag carrier using the AR rather than the pistol as they should.
I’ve played Halo since 3 and i’ve never came across a Cheater at all, or a DDOS’er but I’ve seen DDOS’s happen over my friends. I really doubt you actually came across someone modding the game, because I’ve played ALOT and i’ve never came across one. Were they using a bug or an exploit? Most likely so. Were you outplayed? More likelier than the latter.

relax relax… the only hacking in Halo 4 is the armour-less mod. The game servers are horrible, which causes games to lag a lot.
Ever played Spartan Ops online? Those games nearly always lag.
If you are able to adapt to the lag, you will be able to play better.
