So i heard that in halo 4 you would be able to join games that have allready started, making so that people that have left on your team ‘halo reach’, won’t mean game over for you already, but this will be annoying if it will be like the cod series one. because i play both halo series and cod series, but i find that cod is extremely annoying when i join a game and it has already ended + making my win/lose really bad.
Could you possibly make it so, you can choose if you want to join started games?
i dont really care about my halo k/d, but i find it extremely annoying when i join a game thats about to end, and i lose.
I play halo to win, and play cod to win.
> who cares about w/l only people with no lives care about that, its about having fun not your kd or w/l
And the award for most ignorant person ever goes to…
Join game in progress sounds like a bad idea to me. Maybe there should be an option for only your friends to join in if they want. It’d make it better, but still not all that good.
> who cares about w/l only people with no lives care about that, its about having fun not your kd or w/l
People like you need to be separated from the competitive players, people who don’t care about winning or losing or doing well kill the fun for competitive players who want to take it seriously and work as a team. This is why Halo 4 won’t be that great because the ranking system doesn’t punish failure like the ranked playlists in Halo 3 did.
i am competitive you should see me playing halo reach i will give commands to my team, ive had to carry teams on many occasions.i just accept a loss and a win is a win, you cant help making a few tiny mistakes that make you lose like that betrayal your teammate accidently did on you or whatever
i dont care if i win or lose i care that my team arnt complete -Yoink-'s and i hate it went people leave your game and your last man there id acturly like to have some people come and help me when im only one left on my team in the game.
I play to win ill fight to the best of my ability and if at the end i win or lose i dont care, it doesnt matter to me because atleast you get some fun out of the game.
> you cant help making a few tiny mistakes that make you lose like that betrayal your teammate accidently did on you or whatever
Yes you can. You get better. You get coordinated. That’s what every “team” I’ve played on has had to do over 3 Halo games. Some teams were better than others, but every one shared the common factor that you played to get better both as an individual and a team.
And then you don’t make those mistakes all to often.
thats i play with my friends when i can because you can communicate unlike now with stupid partys that are total ballshit in games because it stops communication

Parties are a symptom of the problem. Better to be in a party than in a dead lobby.
If you’re wondering why this happened, Modern Warfare 2 happened.
if you want competitive play lock out partys for those playlists and those are what ill be playing i want them locked out for those playlists or ones that envolve major team work.

That’s what Modern Warfare 2 did, and that was the problem. We simply found other ways. Like muting everyone else in the lobby, or using Private chat (which can’t be blocked, I don’t think).
How can it be fixed, I cannot say. But doing part of what initially created the problem won’t help.
The goal of a Halo game is to win, working with your team to try to achieve that goal the fun of it. Its sad that its now become everyone running around being stupid trying to get as many kills for their own exp points instead of working with the team and watching their kdr to make sure its not negative and they are benefiting the team. It just feels so pointless when no one is trying and just play “for fun”. I hope they have competitive playlists.
