Is 343 still planning on implementing this? If so, armor lock use to be the worst decision in the franchise…

Why would I want to join those games.

Agreed. Full games only, with clear times to get in and out. Having a game finish with an entirely different set of people is crazy. I don’t want to drop into a losing game 5 seconds from the end, and I don’t want points for doing so. Penalize quitting more, IE 3 quits per day, then probation on 4+.
Well you can have fun sitting in a BTB match all by yourself, then getting a 1 week credit ban because you left.
I agree there should be a filter, so you can change whether you want to join a match mid session or always join in the pre-game lobby, other than that there is zero problems.
Now i can stat -Yoink!- on a full team of people who are not even close to my skill level, and the best part is no matter how many of them quit no one in the game actually leaves!
No more games where one or two people hide in obvious to find spots and waste my time because i want to hurry up and hold the objective on more teams.
Now over the course of 15 mins i can stat up to 200 people!
And whats even better is once the first batch of people leaves it will be even easier to do since my team will have full map control and all the weapons on the map, every group after that won’t stand a chance!

I agree with only puting Join-in-progress in certain playlists. I also hope that they have a filter for matchmaking too as said above for those certain playlists.
This decision did bother me a bit. I would hope you can’t join in session in all playlist. Also a limit at what point you could join would be nice. At the halfway ,ark of the game whether it be by time or score should make the game off limits. No one wants to come into a game losing by 30 kills 10 seconds before it ends.

My BTB KD… I think it’s somewhere between 4.5 and 5.5
I don’t think I am the one quitting…
Increase quitting penalties,
or at least add the option to disable joining games in progress
and also allow teams to accept the entry of new players.
Considering about 1/2 the games I play in big team end up with at least 2-3 dropouts due gametype or map, maybe connection issues, it sounds good to me, ranked playlists can get much harsher quit penalties this way too, including being exiled to social for a week after 3 quits

I guess with the realization that Halo has become COD, it really isnt a big deal anymore… but i still hate join session in progress in that game too.
