Join in Progress - Toggle?

I normally hate starting a new thread just to ask a simple question, but I can’t figure this one out. I tried googling it, but every other person says something different. Maybe I just suck at teh googles. Regardless…

Is the join in progress feature toggle-able? I will be incredibly upset if it is forced. I NEVER want to be thrown into a game in progress, even if I only missed a minute or two. I want a fresh game every time unless I’m joining a friend. Don’t try to convince me that joining a game in progress isn’t that bad, because you can’t convince me otherwise of that. I just want to know if I can avoid this, because, in my opinion, it is rarely useful and usually a burden/nuisance.

Ditto. Join is session is what turns me off of battlefield 3, and I love BF3.

during todays live stream they did say you wouldnt be able to join a match with less than a minute to go. imo i’d like to see it cut off at mid-match or so but its something they looked at so you dont get thrown immediatley into a loss, kinda

If they have to add this ridiculous feature cut it off a minute after it starts to gain a teammate if someone quit before the match started that I think is fair.

Tack on another complaint, then. Thanks, guys.

That’s the only major flaw in JIP because that would cause you to lose in games you didn’t even get to play in. With cut offs and limits to when you can join (assuming the system is effective) you should hardly get into those matches.

Treyarch/IW have had years to change this but they have not. If Halo 4 improves in that area, it’s going to more than just an imitator like so many people say it is.

It was confirmed long ago that you can turn it off. Come on guyz.

Suck it up, Princess.

i would think, logically, it would make sense that you would be able to choose in the priority options(or wherever) whether you want the fastest game possible or want to wait for a new match. but idk.

Again, you can turn join in progress off. This was confirmed a WHILE AGO.
