I’m playing warzone alone. Apparently that means I’m destined to exclusively join games in progress to a team that is getting well and truly demolished. Despite being a good player, get destroyed for about 5 minutes by about 10 tanks and 85 ultra banshees, lose my core, get 0 req points, rinse, repeat.
There really needs to be a ‘no join in progress’ option. I don’t mind it occasionally when playing, but it’s literally every other game and always to a team where hope of fun is less than zero.
Played warzone for the first time in about a month today. Everytime it was a fresh search I was JIP to a losing team - 3 games out of 3.
they need an option for no join in progress, an option to not be matched against groups, and the matchmaking system needs to do a much better job of matching for skill. in my opinion anyway
Yes to an option for no join in progress and yes to the option to not be matched with groups. Also yes to matching for skill but this doesn’t always apply, in all honesty I’d rather not have that in Warzone and BTB as it takes longer to join and due to the bigger teams the ranking difference doesn’t make as much of a difference as playing against a full group. I think one issue with having the option to turn off matching with groups would be that this could significantly split the population, as a lot of solo players would not like to play against groups.

I agree with all of that. I lost 8 games in a row last night because of playing against full parties and having uneven skilled games.
Change the search to expanded, been using it since MOR and have only JIP twice.
