Join in Progress needs work

343, would you mind doing something about the way join in progress works? Because I really don’t enjoy it when crap like this happens.

That sucks. What changes do you want? X amount into the game, X number of goals/deaths and you can no longer JIP? How would you resolve it?

The reason I hate join in progress in this game. It should be removed completely.

I can’t really think of any ways to resolve it. Stop join in progress once it gets to a certain number of rounds or stop it when there’s certain amount of time left, maybe?

they need at add a loss stat prevention if you join in progress. It surprises me that simple stuff like that has STILL not made it into Halo

They need to make it so you don’t join a game on the last round of a Breakout gametype in Action Sack. Had that happen last night and I couldn’t even join in before the game ended. That’s just one example out of several others that need to be fixed.

I definitely have to agree with this, I’ve noticed my win/loss go down a lot. It irritates me.

I think it would just make more sense to remove stat tracking from social/unranked playlists. They could keep the hidden rankings, but make anything from those playlists not affect K/D, W/L, and so on.

I think the same thing has happened to me on Tank World. Not exactly fun to watch your remaining teammate get rekt by two enemy Scorpions.

JIP is a great feature for joining friends, other than that it is horrible. I would rather wait five minutes to party up with friends than get a JIP game.

I would fix jip by making quitters only jip instead of bans…
