I’m gonna be honest, in Halo Join in Progress just does not work. I’m gonna keep it short and sweet. I liked the idea, i thought it might work in the beginning. But the whole concept of it just makes it not work. You have to join a team that is almost always down like 150 points, and that in Halo is almost always too big of a lead. Please 343, I am enjoying the game except when its tipped in favor of the opposing team extraordinarily and JiP does that, please just get rid of it. It doesn’t work
I have to agree. It sucks when your teammates dip on you, but it sucks so much worse being thrown into a -Yoink- game you can’t possibly hope to win. Get rid of JIP and decrease the number of games it takes to trigger a quit ban. I never thought I’d say that as I tend to get the quit ban a -Yoink- ton, but I realize I mainly get it from quitting out of -Yoink- games that the JIP throws me into in the first place.
That’s also true, the penalty for actually quitting out of games should be more severe. I mean I have quit out of 60 out of like 2000 but if you quit you should know you’re leaving someone high and dry, and you should know you might feel repercussions of that action.
JiP is probably the worst thing added into a halo game
Pretty close, if not true to the truth
I honestly found that quitting became more of a big deal in Reach. You don’t lose anything for quitting in Halo 4 or Reach. In Halo 3 you literally lost a games worth of work. I think that’s how it should return to. You lose a set amount of exp if you quit. maybe that will encourage players to not quit. It would work better too if you only got exp when you won…but that’s a different story altogether.
The only join in progress system that I believe works, is the Battlefield 3 join in progress system. I can select a game, view the number of people currently playing that game and then decided whether or not to join that game.
Battlefield 3 give me choice. Halo 4 does not.
