Yes I’m tired of 3v8 BTB matches it needs to stay.
It should be an option. Not forced.
There should be an ability to filter it, that would satisfy competitive gamers and it would also solve that annoying 4 vs 1 that happens when people quit.
There’s no way to make it work.
Why do people usually quit? There team is losing. Then people will just end up joining the losing team.
Nope, join in progress is evil and destroys the flow of the game. I hate people randomly leaving and joining and leaving and joining and lobbies starting with an uneven amount of people and completely different people in the game at the end than at the beginning, start and end times are vague, individual matches blur into each other, and the game is just screwed up. I much prefer the occasional quitter and lopsided match. Join in progress enforces a “quitting is okay because people will join” mindset.
Quit bans are also horrible. You should have incentive to say in the game and not quit (like the game actually being fun), rather than stupid punishments for quitting. Negative reinforcement is not the way to go, especially when it comes to a game and a service you purchased. I’d like to think that professionals would know how to do things right, but it seems that they’re doing it all wrong.
JIP has Pros and Cons.
I think if the next Halo has Ranked and Social Playlist.
JIP should be disabled for RANKED games, and enabled for Social Games.
In Ranked games, friends should be able to join your group if you are searching. Once game begins, JIP is disabled for Ranked Matches.
This just stops you from having to return to lobby, to let a friend join (think REACH).

Absolutely not! And on that note, lets hope 343 is done with their experimenting phase and actually makes Halo this time.
Yes I do because Halo is a community of quitters I like playing matches with a full deck. Plus now we will have Deds and hopefully 343i used Halo 4 as a learning tool to make better MM systems so JIP should be a better feature in H5 than it is in H4.
Yes JiP for all the Social playlists and obviously no JiP for the Ranked playlist.
Question is if 343 will do the right thing and actually have both Ranked and Social playlists for that game.
