I would honestly rather be matched up against a fleet of armor locking, noob combo-ing, seven year olds than play another match where I enter half way through on the losing team. It destroys any competitive aspect of the game, and will cause people to rage quit like never before. I hope that 343 realizes that they need to at least add an option for us to not get put into a game in progress. It’s ruining my matchmaking experience.

I would have a %100 agree with you. It’s extremely annoying. I honestly don’t understand why they would implement this. It’s seriously taking away the fun aspect.
Join in progress has its good aspects and bad. To me it should be limited to the first 2-3 minutes of a game and that’s it. It makes perfect sense for that. Nothing sucks more than teammates dropping out as the game starts. But as for actually joining after that 2-3 minute mark? That probably shouldn’t happen. They should patch that.
Glad to know I’m not alone. I don’t think I would be as upset if it didn’t happen nearly every time I search for a game.
