Hello Potential recruits! I am Gunnery Sergeant Ominous Solace of the BLUE Army over at Forerunner Conflict, I am here t let you know about our great community and hope to see you all enlist in either the BLUE Army or the REDD Army. Here we go.
Forerunner Conflict is a War/Military-Simulation over the game Halo. Two Armies Meet every Sunday to participate in a Battle to control the Maps of Halo. We are Community that respects each other, and we have community game nights, Squad Practices etc.
A war-simulation is a simulated conflict, this one being set in the Halo universe. There are two Armies made of players, that control several territories, and each week battles are fought to determine the fate of the maps, and ultimately, the war. The Royal Enforcer Deployment Division(REDD) and the Brotherhood Legion of United Exiles(BLUE) are the two factions.
Every week the leaders of each army determine one of their enemies territories to invade. Each Sunday, a battle is fought on the map to determine the fate of it. If the Invaders win, they capture the map. If the defenders win, they keep the map. Each side also has one Capital map, and if captured, that side loses the war.
Forerunner Conflict has several features that make this the most realistic War-Simulation yet. The most obvious implementation is the Rank system. Everyone has their own rank, from Private to Field Marshall. Battles are fought between individual squads of the armies, each member is sorted into a squad when they are recruited, and become a family with their squad mates. And finally, Forerunner Conflict even uses a live Battle Map .
Each member goes through a Basic Training exercise, which is mainly just to explain the war in detail from a Drill Sergeant. After Basic, the recruits become Privates, and from there can get promotions. You can be promoted for a variety of things, such as being a good sport, being active on the forums, playing in as many games as possible, and not necessarily your skill level. See the Rank structure for your army for more information.
So do you feel like enlisting today?
Post in either the REDD or BLUE topics in the Recruitment Center. Make sure to check out the “Read First Topic“ before you do though. A recruiter or drill instructor will note the amount of recruits often, and hold Basic Training on certain days of the week.
What is Basic Training?
Basic Training is to inform you on every detail you need to know from how your army operates, to getting to your correct party on Battle Day.
