who wants johnson? the hard core community want johnson.

Decimated by the Halo going off. The “hardcore” community knows he is dead. quit making troll threads.
Johnson was microwaved, dropped 100 feet in a pit, fried, blown up by half a Halo pulse the incerated with the ring. How do you expect him to come back? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

Because he’s invincible? Are we going to rip their skulls from their spines and walk away laughing marines?

He’s survived that much and then some before.
I guess someone hasn’t played Halo 3.

Okay, lets pretend he is alive, yeah? He’s trapped. In space. With no air. Forever.
Someone has never played Halo 3
Without Johnson, competitive Halo is dead.

He was in that exact situation at the end of Halo 1 and that didn’t stop him from reaching Cairo Station for Halo 2.
No Johnson means slower kill times and ruined map control.
I would love to see a scenario in the new story that would reunite Johnson with the Chief.

His part in the orion project gave him immunity to the flood. He was able to find othe marines and a pelican and managed to escape. He was offscreen half the time in halo ce.
Halo 3 he was not. He was mortaly wounded by a laser. He died at chief’s hand. And after activating it, his body starts sliding off the platform and the room essentialy imploded on him. if he managed to survive that, how the hell would he get off the halo before it activated??
He wasnt told where the pelican crashed, and even so, it crashed! And besides you cant traverse back, the cliffs were too high to climb back up. And I doubt a pelican can escape the radius of the halo’s weapon.
He’s dead. Get over it.

In the .5 seconds between the Halo exploding and the screen turning white? Yep, this is why I hate the Halo books.
> Sorry
That’s what Bungie wanted you to believe. It’s all due to timed scripting.
Those 2 Phantoms on S117 that get attacked by the missile Pelican are also killed by timed scripting.
H3’s campaign is full of scripting. How can we take it seriously when a lot of kills end up being a hoax? An immersion breaking hoax?!
Hence, I refuse to believe Johnson canonically died. When you see Arbiter make a leap that he normally shouldn’t be able to do (hint: last level, after destroying Spark), you know H3’s campaign is a fantasy.

yeah because expanding the story to new levels through different media wad an evil thing to do.
Besides that ending was more of a easter egg than anything. Those who consider that official canon…i pity you

He died. In Halo 3. 343 guilty Spark killed him. Then the Halo array went off.
He’s dead.
The Hardcore Halo fans know this.
The Hardcore Halo fans that have been playing since CE know this.
The SgtMjr had a great run. Let him rest in peace.

Selling out and increasing sales by including shameless fan service in the form of terrible novels by hack authors. What a wonderful thing to do.
It’s in the game, it’s the ending, are you saying that Halo CE isn’t canon?
