Johnson Question?

If Sgt. Johnson had lived could he have joined the Spartan IV program? I know he was apart of the Orion Project/Spartan I and I’m not too keen on how the augmentations work and differ between the Is, IIs, IIIs, and IVs but could he have become a IV?

Yeah, I don’t see why not – the only things I could think of that would prevent Johnson from joining would be potential issues between the ORION and Spartan-IV augmentations (which are anyone’s guess), or maybe Johnson’s age (which probably wouldn’t stop him)

I could see him in a role like Palmer’s – overseeing other IV’s but maybe in the field less often

Johnson definitely could have become a Spartan IV. I don’t see any reason why that wouldn’t have been possible. Biologically, he was probably in his 40’s. The main difference between the programs is the extent of the augmentations. The Spartan III program was an improvement on the Spartan II program. IV’s aren’t as strong or as fast as II’s and III’s but their GEN2 armor makes up for that difference.

Johnson could of been anything he was SGT johnson after all.

Could? Probably.
Would? Doubtful.

Johnson would have been a great Spartan IV trainer/mentor. The ode in Infinite for the academy being named after him is, I feel, in direct respect to the experience and achievements of the man.
