Most people know master chief is going to show emotions in halo 4,
johnson COULD appear as master chief’s imaginations… master chief thinking johnson survived.

Cortana: JOHN THE NUMBERS WHAT DO THEY MEANNN!!!
John: WHY DO I KEEPING JOHNSON LIKE HOW MASON DID WITH REZNOZ.
Cortana: HES DEAD. MOVE ON.
John: ;aFHoagwhguwoehjgawe/gawgjeuw;eg/awgnjwea;guho ok.
Hallucinations; John might hallucinate and Johnson might make an appearance through this. It’s implausible for him to not hallucinate at certain points of his life.
John doesn’t imagine. Remember what Gravemind said. Mind and machine. He thinks.
I could see that, i honestly thought you were going to say somthing like “if he survived the first halo blowing up (legendary ending), he might have survived this” lol
I know. Because Sgt Johnson is a part of Halo. He is the star of Halo and he was kind enought to let John 117 co-star in the previous Halo games.
I know what you’re thinking. You’re fingers are itching, ready to type evidence that I am wrong. So allow me to save you some time by responding to the arguments you’ll no doubt make.
1. Silly Shadow, Sgt Johnson was killed by 343 Guilty Spark.
Oh the naive. I know you think he’s dead. First of all let me just say I’m a parent of two young children. I know when someone is faking. I know that he fooled MC and Arby but not me, no sir. Johnson wasn’t dead, heck, he wasn’t even hurt. You think a little beam from 343 hurt him? Shame on you. This is Sgt Johnson we’re talking about, not some girls-blowse Spartan. If you know the lore of Halo you know Johnson is an original Spartan, not some budget second generation super soldier. He’s even immune to The Flood. He wanted them to think he was dead, they were taking his kills and he wanted more Flood for himself. The only reason he showed up was to babysit John and Arby and make sure they activated the installation without bungling the whole operation. Once his job was done he pretended to be dead because John and the Arby were cramping his style and getting in the way of his shots.
2. Are you crazy, the Ark exploded, how could Johnson survive that?
Ahhhhh, you poor kids. You really think an exploding Halo could kill Johnson? Heck he did it in Halo 1. So we know he’s survived at least 1 exploding Halo (who knows how many others he’s personally exploded without us knowing). Heck, I’m pretty sure exploding ring worlds are just recreation for Johnson.
Johnson can’t be killed by petty things like planetary explosions and tiny forerunner monitors. Heck, when the Brutes were toruring him in Halo 3 he was straight trolling them and insulting them. You think he’s dead? For shame!
My personal theory was that after Johnson fooled MC and Arby into thinking he’d kicked the bucked he snuck off and killed a few thousand flood (using his genetic Flood immunity) he got kinda bored and made his way to the frigate. He easily beat MC there and had enough time to cook up some supper and have a nap. When he wakes up, expecting to be safely back at earth, he’s gonna be pissed that MC somehow managed to get the ship cut in half and stranded on a new world. After he calms his rage and decides not to snap MC in half with his bare hands he’ll realize that there’s plenty of killing to do and he’ll resume his rightful role of being MC’s commanding officer.
That is all.

I think halo needs new fresh characters and Johnson has right to rest in peace…and you are trying too hard to be funny.
Haha

You’re taking your own fan boy opinions about Johnson and calling them facts. I love Sgt. Johnson and he is way better than the Chief in some ways. But come on! Move on with the story and accept the fact that he is dead.
I don’t know, I think you’re underestimating Johnson. He wouldn’t be on the ship with Chief, Johnson would be there when he got ground side with a welcoming wave and asking what the hell took him so long.

He’s obviously joking… successful troll is successful.
Whoever made this article is right. If you watched halo 4 panel at halo fest they said some old characters will come back to halo 4. Arbiter, Buck, Dutch, flood, some of the remaining forerunners, precursors, Blue Team (Spartan Crew that got lost in a planet). More info will come out soon.

It’s not an opinion, it’s fact.
Think about it.
In Halo 1, you blow up Installation 4, you assume Johnson died in the blast, but Johnson survives.
In Halo 3, you blow up Installation 4 … again, you assume Johnson died in the blast … again.
Don’t tell me you honestly didn’t see this coming.
He’s done it once before, he has experience.
Johnson lives.
That is all
Haha, good read, but I saw Johnson fall off the edge of the glass platform during the cutscene where Chief defeated 343 and fired the Halo ring.
So if he did survive the energy blast he definately didnt survive the Kill barrier below them xDDDDD.
Johnson survived Halo 1 because he escaped on a pelican and met up with chief later.
In Halo 3, he gets shot by Guilty Spark, and then the Controle Room collapsed and his body slides away (watch it again, his body slides to the right).
Johnson is not comming back.
besides john johnson was my favorite character i wouldnt want him to come back thou just because i would like to see new characters for john to interact with and it wouldnt be possible for him to come back seeing that john went through the portal and is now on a whole new planet

he could have used the pelican that cheif crashed to escape.
Johnson did survive. He’s hiding with Noble 6 and Jorge. In fact, they got bored of farming credits, so they hijacked the Forerunner tractor beam to bring Master Chief into the Death Star so he can get some credits too. After all, Master Chief is the only one in Halo 4 who isn’t an Inheritor yet.

Well, one Johnson is dead. There’s still plenty more out there. (See secret UNSC elite soldier cloning program. Hence “It’s classified” at the start of Halo 2.)
Post-war trauma chief = a chief that implies internal weaknesses = a chief that will be seen as weak and an unfavorable character.
Well in Halo 4 Johnson gets a woman, he’s been guaranteed!
