should they show John’s face at the end of Halo 6? As tons of people want to know. I don’t because his actions speak more than his looks (that was cheesy) and it’s just a mystery that doesen’t need to be solved
There was a thread a while back where people speculated what the ending to Halo 6 might be. Alot of people came up with really good ways to end the trilogy and in same cases, including mine, end Chief’s story altogether. Mine at least, included a brief glimpse, though a reflection off of his helmets visor, of his face. If I can find it somewhere, i’ll post a link to the thread and possibly the page with my suggestion. Tbh, I wouldn’t mind seeing his face. I never really saw myself as the Chief, I always though of him as his own character and thats where its going now. We have a description of his face, and a visual of him from his childhood, but thats it. Nothing up to date visually. Before ending his story, they should show us his face, no matter how short, or how much they try covering it with say a bright white light or something. Its still good enough for me that he was fully fleshed out as a character with a name and a face.

No. It’s one of the things that is so special about him, John is who you want him to be no matter who you are, he’s everyone’s personal hero and if they raveled his face, I think it would definitely signify the end of his story in the games.
Everyone will look at John differently if they unmask him. The memory of him should be his always classic armour, and we can all think of him our own way without having to be forced to acknowledge something as his face.
i don’t want them to show it. it’d ruin the magic. too many people have the view in which that helmet is his face. and i’m in that boat. seeing a different icon for chief would ruin it for me.
He has brown hair if you wanna know,that’s all you will get from the Halo saga.
They should definitely show his face. It will bring Halo full circle with who the Master Chief really is.

No, just no. Revealing his face would ruin from every Halo game for me. No matter how hard they spend on his face, I will not be satisfied. I don’t trust 343i, or anyone for that matter, not even Bungie, to be able to fulfill the task of constructing a face that fits his persona. Just leave him masked, please.

No OP. It would completely ruin the character, and it would probably cause more harm than good. Also 343 probably would have hard time trying to design a face that would fit his character.
It would be like Valve given Gordon Freeman a voice. Just like the Chief it would ruin his character, and Valve would have one hell of a hard time trying to find a voice that fits his character.
We are better off if the Chief doesn’t show his face, and Gordon Freeman not having a voice.

343 knows what is doing. And revealing John’s face is a very bad idea, so don’t worry: we’ll never see his face in game.
