John getting out of his current situation...

So how will John get out of being literally crushed by the didact?

Let the speculation begin!!

Idk, but he will, obviously.

EDIT: How captain obvious of me lol

I’d imagine Blue Team will shoot the Didact’s arm, causing him to drop Chief. I think this is one of those times where the issue ends on a cliffhanger just to get people hyped to find out what happens next, only for it to be resolved moments later.

Blue team’s intervention and probably the monitor’s too.

Luck.

Thanks for the spoiler alert!!! (Insert Sarcasm here)

He should try shooting his way out. Mix things up a little.

He’ll need a weapon though.

Does Blue team even have the power to help? I don’t believe the Monitor would try to harm him at this point, only acting slightly upset at Didact’s actions. Perhaps something we haven’t seen in the previous comics will come to the rescue.

john will stab him with a secret super knife

What if he misses?

Willing to bet something regarding the Librarian’s magic will occur and give Chief help.

He won’t.

Somehow he’ll finish the fight.

Interesting thought. Aside for the Composer inmunity, we don’t know what else might have happened to him. I’m starting to feel curiosity.

He could just jump; he always jumps. For a brick, he would fly pretty good.

Short of the Librarian returning, I would be pretty angry with this. It would be an absolutely unoriginal way for this to resolve.

I wouldn’t put it past the writer to pull something like this given how stuff like that is the norm in superhero comics.

I wouldn’t either. That said, I’m holding out hope. Something so brazenly cheap in this context seems uncharacteristic in Halo to me. I definitely want to know the full extent of the Librarian’s meddling, but I think it should be done more deliberately. I don’t think the lore gurus would delegate something so significant to a deus ex machina in an obscure comic book.

The Didacts cell phone will start ringing.
