As much as it would break abit of Halo I’d like to see John Forge make a return in Halo Infinite. Originally he was suppose to get teleported by the last moment,but since the company ran outta budget they killed him off…now mind you they did so well for the last scene in HW1. Sgt.Forge would be nice to have around even if for a short part near the end. Has a brilliant return saving a group of SOF Marines with his shotgun and then telling Anders that he told her he’d be back and better kept the coffee hot. Than goes off to make sure his hog hasn’t been taken from the motor pool. Something to would be great or atleast an Easter egg
Where did you hear that Forge wasn supposed to die? I remember seeing a fanfic like that, but that’s it.
Most of what you suggested is really cheesy and ruins the heroism of him sacrificing himself.
I do think it’d be cool to have an Easter egg though, either make a certain marine ally use a similar model, or just have something about him scribbled in a journal.

I’ll see where I found it,its been a few years but it floated in the back of my head for ages. It would be nice if he came back atleast have one Sergeant back in the picture.

Yep I remember. And it wasn’t a fanfic, it was a concept from Ensemble for Wars 2. I’ll see if I can find it.

Yeah I wish there would be something Forge like in Halo infinite to tie the knot on the book about his daughter looking for him and make his legacy carry on…even if hes not alive. Besides he said Not to ask how he got there…its complicated
