What if Halo 5 had John-117’s upgraded Mark VI Armor usable in multiplayer. It could be named the Legendary armor (1 because John-117 is considered a legend and 2 because there’s a legendary visor in Halo 4). And the only way to unlock it is if all the Legendary Campaigns of all Halo games on the Xbox One and 360 were completed.
Its really just an idea and it might help get some people to play more of the past halo games and give a decent reward to those who are loyal enough to complete them all on Legendary.
I asked about this on here about a year ago (we used to be able to post polls), and the responses were overwhelmingly for that armor to stay uniquely John’s, and I’m inclined to agree.
Seeing as how the Chief’s armor was the default in CE, 2, & 3, I think we should be able to use the Mark V (please!!!) or the Mark VI classic, while leaving Chief’s new armor just for him. So pretty much how Halo 4 did it. (they could toss in a Gen II version of the Mark IV … that would be sweet).
I absolutely hope the Mark V armor is in H5. Its my favorite in overall look. Love the simple helmet design.

I for one would not like to see Johns armor on a Spartan IV. It wouldn’t look right on the little fellas.

personally I wouldn’t mind them having a Mark IV variant thrown in as a reward to players who have completed all the Campaigns on legendary from both the Xbox One and 360. I mean 343 already had the Gen 1 Mark VI in Halo 5 Beta so this shows they are willing to go beyond the canon boundaries for the sake of asthetic features.

Spartan IV’s receive augmentations as adults, meaning they don’t grow much, if at all.

I’m surprised there aren’t any pictures of the Centurion armor from the Beta on google images. Look that up. It is 90% what Master Chief’s new suit is. One of the differences is that the left shoulder piece has some kind of hook thing on it, and the helmet is a completely different helmet.
Well I like that it will be available and all but I think its odd its available via Req Packs only, they had some legendary rewards, don’t they think the Gen 2 Mark VI deserves to be an reward?

There actually about the same height, anf in game are all the same height for gameplay reasons. Also all of blue team’s armor is there so why not chiefs?

That’s Fred’s Armor and the hook is supposed to be a knife.

Wait isn’t that only for the beta? The video is old…
I would think that it is going to follow through with the final version too. I haven’t been able to find anything else other than this.
I would honestly love to see that as a secret mythic card or something.
