This is not at all what the multiple eye witnesses in the New Testament record. They record that the Jewish leaders were looking for any way to get rid of Him. They could not legally give anyone the death penalty so asked Rome to do it for them and due to pressure from a mob Pilot caved. This was not democracy at play but rather mob rule.
Yes i would say grouping Protestants and Catholics together is fine when you say Christian that is what it would mean. So when i said Jews that includes all of them i.e. Pharisee and Sadducee. I am still confused as to why you are trying to differentiate them. What point was there to make using the different sects of Judaism?
Yes this is the whole point of Chief and the other Spartans. They were kidnapped children conscripted into the military. That is what makes them tragic figures. Their existence is vital to humanityâs survival but at what cost to the individual? You basically breed a human machine meant only for war. Thats the lore reason as to why Chief hardly has any emotions and that works perfectly with allowing the player to cast their own feelings onto him. Which again is why giving main characters a set religion would break the immersion for many players as they may not be apart of said religion.
I think its more than fair to say Halo is typically an arena shooter. It just had a different weapon system other than the weapon wheel. But it still had equal spawns and map weapons which is a staple of the arena shooter.
It is certainly something of a contentious topic or at least was.
Back in the ce 2 days the quake message boards would go into hyper drive arguing it wasnt.
For most arena shooter fans the core elements are speed, resource management and swapping to the right weapon.
Halo was slower, health management was reduced and the 2 weapon system made it impossible to have a tool for all encounters.
Im not here to argue either way mind you.
Just pointing out that it is a debated topic.
Halo and quake 1-3s are my favourite game trilogies been in forums for both for a long time and this topic right here has unleashed some serious hell haha.
A mob going up and saying âYes let this other criminal go because we will pay any price to get what we wantâ is not democracy. Its a mob just trying to get what they want.
Okay but you were saying it should be much more overt earlier. I get that the world is based on ours just set in the future. The small references to religious stuff is fine and isnât supposed to be some secret message nor was the OP suggesting that when you made a comment about it being like that.
The OP was just curious about more references not hidden meaning or anything.
I think we have gotten off topic but its been a good discussion.
Go study the root words of democracy and come back to me on that one Spoon.
No, I said it should be expected given that Halo is based on projections made in 2001, of which there were many religions around to draw influence from.
I literally said this exact thing, looking into a piece of fiction for âsecretsâ that apply to the real world is insanity.
My opinion is the United Nations in 2001 accepted representatives of all member nations, regardless of what religion they identified with.
Hahahahaha.
Words words words sums it up nicely. You always provide entertainment.
I had not even made an argument at the point in time or even engaged with you so no, no conflict. I Gave spoon context and slight subtle nudge back on topic but here we are.
Nothing I said remotely dealt with chronology haha.
-Yoink!- erectus and -Yoink!- habilis are both parts of the human genus.
A lion and cervil are cats.
These are not sequential order statements.
Man youâre one wild son of a gun.
Always zig when I think youâll zag haha.
Hey this idea is actually quite creative. Also I would like to correct my self Jesus doesnât actually state that he will save all of us from judgement concerning are sins or the death that sin leads to. To be cut off from the Lord etc. We know clearly that everyone doesnât get saved or deserve to live in godâs presence or whatever heaven truly is.
