Jiralhanae to return?

Do you think that possibly the Jiralhanae will return?

Personally, I don’t think so. But maybe in later games or stories where we see more Covenant Factions.

I doubt it. We are fighting a splinter group of the Covenant/Elites. They are unlikely to deploy a Brute fighting force considering their recent history.

I don’t want them!!!

Doubt it.

I wouldn’t want to see them again anyway.

Don’t think they’ll be in H4.

I’ll miss them.

I don’t think so. I wouldn’t miss them anyway.

Neru Pe 'Odosima seem more preoccupied with finding thier ‘god’ on Requiem than caring about Jiralhanae traitors, and we know from Glasslands that some Jiralhanae are servants to Sangheili, so I wouldn’t throw them out of the question just yet. Especially since we need the Gravity Hammer to return for Grifball.

I kinda doubt it.

Weren’t they getting their butts handed to them by the Elites, and themselves, after the war? I heard they were the kinds that would kill each other to become their leader.

i dont think so simply for there being to many enemy groups in Halo 4 and i dont think that the brutes would want to go to requim because they have no reason to. I dont think they give a -Yoink- about the forunners so they wouldnt go to a forunner planet. If they wanted to keep fighting the elites they would not go to requim to do it. However i would love to see the return of the chopper.

Well it’s directly after Halo 3 and there’s still plenty around. It’s a high possibility, I’d, personally, love to fight the Halo 3 brutes, I hated the Reach ones and would love to fight that strong one with the gravity hammer.

They played a good roll of the franchise. However; if they were more aggressive like Halo 2 brutes, I would of missed them.

Well I wouldn’t want anyone to be excluded from the game, I just hope that IF they are in, that they are much more enjoyable to fight.

I don’t want them back anyways, unless the return to their former Halo 2 self. Halo 3 brutes were ok, but I don’t want Reach brutes. They played like boring soulless -Yoink!- in Reach.

I consider them an annoyance…not an enemy.

I hope they never come back.

Your hypothesis is completely sound. If the brutes don’t return were going to need an appearance of the gravity hammer somewhere in the game, but who will wield them? Elites? I doubt it they look kinda weird with gravity hammers, plus it’s not really their style.

Um, have they confirmed that they are the servants of abiding truth that we are fighting?

I wont miss them, they were boring enemies elites are much better adversaries. The halo 2 brutes were ok because they were tough and would go berserk. Halo 3 brutes were kinda dumb, too easy to kill usually, like fighting big humans just had to pop armor first that stayed popped. Thats the danger of elites, you cant let shields recharge, have to put them down quicker

I remember a long time ago one of the sources said that they had connections. One of the E3 interviews about Spartan Ops the guy had said that these Covies think that one of their ‘gods’ is on the planet, and the only known Sangheili faction known to continue Forerunner worship are the Neru. So I’d say they are, or something similar. Even if they weren’t my theory is still sound.
