JIP

I don’t understand why joining a game in progress is a thing after a certain point in the game. The last 2 warzone games I got into were landslide JIPs of which the other team had triple capped my team, it makes the game in general not as much fun when honestly more than half my games (i usually play super fiesta or warzone) are JIP. I don’t get a chance to play the whole game or even compete in something like warzone. Can anyone explain why they would still have JIP in short matches like super fiesta or in warzone past a certain point in the game?

Yeah it has happened to me a lot in Oddball which keeps me from playing social altogether because most of the time I will join a game that is already half way over or worse, literally just ended so I get a loss.

It is Social/Warzone after all. These game modes are Just to have fun.

Then why are there betrayals?

Getting intentionally betrayed is one thing that can make me quit a game right away – life’s too short to put up with these jerks – but then matchmaking will JIP me back into the EXACT SAME MATCH. Whose bright idea was THAT?

Considering the constant quitting for me a few bad JIP is not a problem.

This is most people say and its really annoying honestly. Halo in general is a game just to have fun, doesn’t mean I have to be any less competitive in the “social” gameplay. Also it is WAY more fun to play a full game no matter what, even if i have to wait longer to play.

:joy:
If I get betrayed a first time, I usually let it go. It happens. There’s a lot of noobs in this game. Especially now with that season pass.

Don’t know what to tell you… you should have stayed.

I don’t know about that. There’s times when it gets quite annoying just waiting for a game…

I think you missed the word “intentional”. The people betraying me for the sniper rifle aren’t noobs, they’re try-hards who think they can do better with it than me. So, take the rifle, and good luck fighting shorthanded while I go find a match without any *-holes.

Oh, yeah. I did miss that. My bad. Either way, you should have stayed. After 3 betrayals, they would of gotten kicked out of the game.

I don’t understand why getting betrayed counts as a death against you. And the guy that betrayed you and a couple of other guys, finally gets kicked, he is happily playing another game while you get the loss.

That still doesn’t explain how it JIPs me back into the exact same match – after I already QUIT it.
