To reference an older meme, “I don’t always use Legendary Boosts for Warzone Games, but when I do, it’s always join in progress and my team is losing.”
Seriously though, I’d very much not like to waste those on games I’m bound to lose. Jackpot’s are okay, as its random anyways, but I believe there’s direct correlation between Boost reward amounts and how well our team played the game. If there isn’t correlation and boosts are static, than this complaint is negligible. If there’s correlation, than I’m being cheated out of my boosts.
Thoughts?
Yea I kinda feel the same, I sometimes like JIP games but only of course if I’m winning, the problem with removing JIP games is then there would be a team by themselves a lot. I don’t know how you could fix the games but 343 improved the boosts by returning them anytime you leave or get disconnected. But I feel ya, much luck to you on your games.
The best way to help ease the pain of JIP when you use boosts is that you should automatically get the max for the boost. Whats to lose?

That’s what I thought too! But then four games ago, I joined in progress, used an ultra-rare boost and I checked the post-game stats and 3000 points were given as a boost and the ultra-rare boost is so far not returned. Perhaps it will be returned much later? Could also be a glitch.

Sorry, let me be more specific. Gambit boosts ( spartan kills, assists, etc.) are not used in JIP if you do not complete the necessary requirements. Regular boosts are, and it doesnt matter that they are because they offer the same amount regardless of playtime.
Sigh, my JIP boosts still haven’t worked since the beginning. I’ve tested this on numerous occasions and I don’t know why they’re not working either.
Make sure you don’t use boosts in JIP playlists if you’re playing solo then.
Legendary warzone RP boost gives 5000 RP no matter the outcome of the game, or whether you were in the game for 27 minutes or 8 seconds (had a JIP where I joined the losing team and it only showed the ending cut scene of pelicans flying away.

Oh okay! Thanks. I wasn’t sure if standard boosts were static or dynamic in reward amounts, but this makes sense if they’re static. All this time I would try super hard with a legendary boost equipped! Oh well, live and learn
