Do it all the time when I’m about to get dumped into an already started game of regicide - how 343 ever thought JiP was and still is a good idea for a FFA type game i’ll never know.

Been doing that trick since the week the game was released. This is old news. Nobody talks about it because they expect that everybody else already knows about it.

As this JIP trick is an exploit, discussion of such things is not allowed. Sorry guys.
We do know about it. The reason people are complaining is because some playlists shouldn’t have JIP like FFA. I do the trick lots of times, but I shouldn’t have to when I join a playlist that shouldn’t have it.
To reply on Toa’s point, yes we wanted JIP, but it has to be implemented properly. There are still games that I join where it’s pointless to try and win because the game is almost done or the team I joined on is getting demolished. Usually I’ll do the JIP trick because I’ll see seven 130’s in the JIP lobby and I pretty much know why I’m joining that game so there is no point in joining.
With JIP, there has to be a cutoff point in games when a certain score is reached by one team/person or if the score is too lopsided, and that is not implemented properly yet. It does work good when I join and the game is just started or it’s mid game and the score is pretty close, but it’s those times that I mentioned above that ruin it.
