What do you want JIP to do for you, throw you onto the winning team every time, it isn’t broken it works the way it is working now putting people into games where people have left, the probability of being put on the losing team is higher than the winning team. People leave the losing team more often than the winning team, so just stop saying JIP isn’t working because it is. Just play out the rest of that game and then wait in the lobby for the next game to start. Of course it can make you mad but it isn’t broken.

Point of JiP is to benefit the players left behind. Yes?
There is a better way to do this. When the player quits/lags out. The game often goes to a black screen.
Instead of coming out of black screen and continuing and hoping JiP kicks in soon… It should stay in black screen untill player slots are filled. Then continue.
In this way, no team EVER has more players than the other team. Sound legit to you?
And yes, it is broken. Last time JiP took a poop on me on this account was in SWAT. My teammates quit… I was holding my own just fine 2 vs 4… Me and my 1 teammate took a cozy lead, even though he was AFC for half the game.
JiP had a problem with my team winning… Magically decided my team needed help and gave me two teammates that were utterly “not familiar with a xBox controller” they died a butt ton and we lost the lead because JiP some how thought this would make the game more interesting. To be fair, it did help “balance out that match” by pooping on me, effectively punishing me for not quitting… Punished for staying and winning. JIP is currently broken.
Specifically what was wrong in that video wasn’t that he was put on the losing team, as you say it’s only natural because people are more likely to quit on. The losing team. What was wrong was how late in the game he was added to the match. Not cool, the 343 tweeted months ago that this would happen a lot less and the wind for JiP to be active would be closer to the start of the match.
Yep, you can join a Regicide game when the King is at 200 points (pretty much guaranteed loss for you), CTF and extraction when the enemy team is up 4-0. It’s not just the Majestic Playlist either…
Yeah I really don’t understand why there is JiP for Regicide/FFA - completely pointless. If I was in one of those games I would be happy for people to quit right down to a 1v1 game.
Team games I like what TimZaRob says about staying on a black screen until the slot is filled - I see alot of black screens in this game it might as well be useful! AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD - 343 STOP GIVING HOST TO QUITTERS!!!
Only thing i hate about it is that it will split full party’s and JIP them on to opposite teams
JIP should never happen if u have a full party or max Team size
Chances are if I’m searching with them it means I don’t want to play against them --± stop trying to make me play against my friends.
I would love to see an option to turn off JIP or leave it on.
Let the player decide. I’m sure some like it.

Only happened to me like 8 times out if hundreds of games but I agree… It just shouldn’t happen. One thing that kinda felt good about JiP was that it encouraged us to play as a grou… Avoid playing as Randoms and search together JUST TO AVOID JiP… Then JiP is like “can’t hide from me!”

Yeah it doesn’t happen to me that often anymore but it still does in the smaller playlists— and seeing as i always search in a full party/ full team
It shouldn’t ever have to split my party up…
