I never understood why JIP is included in the game. Well, let me take it back, I fully understand the idea, ya know? Someone leaves, brings in another so it’s balanced. Yeah, “balanced”. I always understood the concept just never, ever the execution. You all know exactly what I’m talking about. Just joined in a game of Warzone. I get thrown on Blue Team with about 115 pts. Red Team however already has our core exposed and has 400 pts. What is this -Yoink-? You call this balanced? Granted, since you JIP, neither the win or loss count was part of your record but still. It almost made me want to leave and I would’ve if I hadn’t had my boost (realized now I could’ve just left as the the boost requires a “finish” of the match). I’m not wasting my time on a team horribly losing. Granted you can always make a comeback but no, they were losing bad. Bad.
I know, I know, I complain about people leaving then I get stuck on the losing team and I want to leave, “oh you’re a hypocrite”, yeah go stone me to death. But you all know damn well what I’m talking to and what I’m feeling. This is nothing new to Halo, as well as other FPS. Not saying anything bad (well yeah I guess I am), just stating my opinion because I’m pissed
A lot can happen in the short amount of time it takes for you to be dropped into a match, good chance that there were only 2 bases captured and the 3rd while you were joining. I’d honestly rather join and be down some point and try and fight back, than be stuck in a game where 1/4 or 1/2 my team quit and I just get stomped on unable to do anything - I’m looking at you Reach BTB ~.~ I’ve fought back and won JIP matches before, it’s always possible

Casual is meant to be on the fun. Dropping into a completely overwhelmed team from nowhere and getting murdered every 5 seconds is not fun, I don’t care who you are.
JIP is one of THE best features to come to H4 and H5.
Just look around at all the complaint threads the last 10+ years about quitters, AFK players, and betrayers, especially in BTB. So glad JIP is in Warzone. A shame JIP was removed from BTB but the update next week is supposed to add it back in probably to the social BTB playlist.
Over time they could get the JIP dialed in so players don’t join when a game is 3/4 of the way finished or something similar to that.
