JiP on the Race gametype?!

Really?! Why was this implemented? I just started 2 games in a row where the game was either almost over or I had no chance of catching up. Is there any chance this could be removed?

Sounds like somebody made a mistake. It was supposed to be disabled:

> Race is now available in Halo 4! The Matchmaking Systems Team has been hard at work tweaking the game settings and final maps, and the playlist is now live in Matchmaking. Each game features 8 players, <mark>no Join-In-Progress,</mark> and some tight turns.
