I think it’s safe to say we would all complain less about JIP if you got dropped onto the battlefield ODST-style, rather than just spawning. And instead of saying “Teammate joined”, the announcer could say “reinforcements inbound”.
I’m about 95% sure that nothing like this is gonna happen, and obviously it doesn’t need to be nearly as elaborate or long as it is in the video. Just seemed like it would make matchmaking that much more awesome.

Well, wait a moment. If Halo 5 drops on the next generation Xbox console (which it likely will), it just might have enough processing power to pull off something like that.

+1 Or you pod splatters someone on the opposite team and you have an oversheild, speedboost or damageboost from the get go.

Dear 343… Put this in Halo 5. NOW.
JIP there is nothing worse than joining a game thats 850 to 50. take JIP out. If JIP was a MM option NO ONE would pick it. may be if JIP was invite only that may work.
That would be too cool especially if the entire orbital drop animation were included.

I agree with you but I think JIP is here to stay, so why not make it awesome?

If JIP was invite only, boosting would be a lot easier would it not ?
