I played Halo 4 tonight for several hours, and there were times that my teammates quit before the game started and no replacments were brought in.
So what is the JIP settings? why was I stuck with a 2v4 for entire match?

Could be worse. Every time I’ve seen people quit on the Crimson maps, I’ve never seen those slots get filled up.
Earlier today, I was involved in an 8 v 2 on Shatter and it was like shooting fish in a barrel until it timed out. I’ve also been in a 1 v 8 on Shatter, where I had to camp for a few minutes before I killed a couple of guys and quit out because nobody was joining.
I really don’t understand the JiP logic for this game, or team balancing for that matter.
Yeah, I’ve JIPed into so many games, when players instaquit on map selection I don’t sweat it thinking JIP will save the day. Then nothing and its a slaughterfest, hide as best you can to save your stats kinda game. But me being me, I actually try and play and opt for Slaughterfest 2013.

They should give more priority to games on a map pack. A map pack game should look for map pack owners, and snatch them away, even though the connection or skill resemblance won’t be optimal. That’s what we need with these low populations if we actually want to play the new maps as much as the launch maps.
I’ve noticed JIP not working on DLC maps. last night we played an 8v2 on wreckage after 6 players quit within the first 4 minutes.
We spent most of the game jumping on each others heads, forming hardlight shield walls and stupid stuff like that just to relieve the boredom.
