JIP in Action Sack needs work

Hello,
So I loaded up the Action Sack playlist, wanting to do some non-conventional Halo. It put me into a game of Tankworld that was literally over by the time I loaded in. I loaded in just in time to see “DEFEAT” flash on my screen, and the enemy team do their victory pose. I understand that JIP makes sense for social games, but no one should get thrown into a game and not have a chance to play said game. I’m sure I wouldn’t have turned the tides or anything, but still, I got a loss on my record that I really didn’t have a say in, and that’s kind of lame. If I am to lose, at least let me fight to lose.

I see people that join at the last second every game.

This happened to me, but it’s a system that is almost impossible to get just right. If someone leaves and your 3 vs 4 on vehicles it’s a guaranteed loss, but they would have to match the timing perfectly to allow people to join at a certain point.

They could base JIP on time left and current score. If there is plenty of time left on the clock but the score is 4/5 to 1/5, maybe that game should be low priority for JIP.

It could be done for sure, maybe if they make it a perm playlist they can do stuff like that.
