JIP and Ranked Match do NOT go Together

unless…joining a losing game doesn’t count as a loss

but idk if it works that way in Halo 5 BTB.

I meant doesn’t count as a loss for that 1 or 2 people joining in a losing game…
Still counts as a loss for everyone else in the game, or if you quit out.

Yep. And it definitely doesn’t work so that joining in progress to a losing game doesn’t effect your rank. Or, at least the very least if you are still in your first 10 placement matches joining in progress into a match that’s completely doomed does take up one of those 10 games. My very first BTB match I joined in progress and by the time I loaded in to the game the other team had 120+ points and the team I joined had 6. Not even joking…
