It’s been said that his skin is ghost white because he never leaves his armor.

He’s right. Even in the graphic novels before he gets the Mark IV armor we see that Chief is white. The white man wins this day I suppose.
Is this supposed controversial? Of course, the book described Master Chief as white.

Pretty sure he’s just trolling.
He’s depicted as Caucasian in the books, so I don’t see how this is a surprise.
Still, it’s nice to have an idea of what he looks like finally.
