Please post the following numbers from your stats, preferably from your Team Slayer playlist stats. If you can only find the first two numbers, that’s fine. They are the ones I’m most interested in.
> Everyone, just go onto HaloTracker.com and check. You don’t even have to be a member to check your stats. Just search for a gamertag, and then go into your Competitive stats. It shows you your stats in each playlist as well as your “rank”. Then, there is a tab for medals which you can check out. It also lets you break down the medals per playlist, so you can see your Firebird and Pull medals in just the Team Slayer playlist.
Pull: 621
Firebird: 251
Team slayer kills: 13919
Team slayer K/D : 1.33
Team slayer Win % : 57.50%
Team slayer games played: 1080
This numbers shouldn’t mean much since I’ve killed plenty of jet packers that didnt have they’re burners on… Thus no medal. Likewise there where plent of times I got a kill because of jet pack while burners were off… Thus no medal. But still, this might shed some light on a few questions I have, do people with higher k/d ratios use jetpack? Are we more likely to kill with a jetpack or be killed because of it? Is there anyone out there who has more Firebird medals than they do Pull medals?
Also I ask for team slayer stats because jet packs have been a part of that playlist since… As long as I can remember… Currently I do feel like I’m twice as likely to kill a jet packer than I am likely to kill some one whilst jetpacking in team slayer.

Pull: 406
Firebird: 8
Then again, I play on Bumper Jumper, so unless you learn to claw, using a Jet Pack on Bumper Jumper is notoriously difficult.
Also I think it’s just more that people (myself included) become very frustrated when we are killed in a way that we could not have predicted or prepared for, I.E with no fault on our part whatsoever, just out of bad luck. It’s why I personally feel Jet Pack is game-breaking.
6 Firebird
493 Pull
I swear, I don’t even know where those 6 came from… Probably Dino Blasters.

I always hated Dino Blasters, was more random chance who saw whom first and Jet Packing on Bumper Jumper is just painful. D:
Firebirds: 4,456
Pulls: 2,680
(I played a lot of Action Sack)
Team Slayer Kills: 3,957
TS K/D: 1.95
TS Win%: 69.65%
TS Games Played: 257

If you know that the Jetpack is an option in the gametype, then you should be prepared for it. Not being prepared for it is just being ignorant. It’s not hard.

Jetpack are game breaking because they destroy mapflow. Maps are designed to have certain “choke points” where a majority of battles will take place, but you can just bypass those areas with jetpacks. There is no point in having lifts, ramps, stairways, etc. with jetpacks.
This is only from my Team Slayer playlist:
Pull - 106
Firebird - 16 (probably from before I switched to BJ)
Team Slayer Kills - 4,198
Team Slayer K/D - 1.39
Team Slayer Win % - 53.4%
Team Slayer GP - 324
> Firebirds: 4,456
> Pulls: 2,680
> (I played a lot of Action Sack)
>
> Team Slayer Kills: 3,957
> TS K/D: 1.95

> TS Games Played: 257
Action sack numbers shouldn’t help, only using medals from your team slayer stats… Then you have
Pull: 59
Firebird:131
Is there actually a way to view medals by playlist on Waypoint? I can’t seem to find it.
Regardless here are my general stats:
Firebird: 3,940
Pull: 1,104
Kills: 52,119
K/D: 1.28
Win %: 55%
Games: 6059
TS Kills: 4082
TS K/D: 1.27
TS Win %: 56
Games: 354
> Is there actually a way to view medals by playlist on Waypoint? I can’t seem to
There might be… I just use HaloTracker.com
Team slayer kills=101,000
Firebird=77
Pull=1170
K/D=1.71
W/L=62/38
Games played=9011
Here’s my stats:
Pull - 760
Firebird - 86
Team Slayer Kills - 10994
Team Slayer K/D - 2.09
Team Slayer Win % - 62.56%
Team Slayer Games Played - 844
Although I almost never use Jetpack, due to the fact (as others have mentioned) that it is near impossible to use the Jetpack correctly whilst playing on Bumper Jumper.

I just realized that the number I gave for Firebirds includes Firefight.
Here’s the revised count…
Competitive Firebirds: 1317
Competitive Pulls: 914
Competitive Kills: 47,794
Competitive K/D: 1.31
Competitive Win %: 60%
Competitive Games: 3,961

You can shuffle a deck of cards and draw one out at random and hope it’s a heart or a club, even if you’re aware of the fact that it’s a 50/50 chance you can’t really prepare for it. The Jet Pack creates new lines of sight when being used that are temporary and not built into the map, you might be able to hear it going off but if the Jet Packer sees you before you see him, you’re dead. It’s why it’s so frustrating to be killed by one, because it’s down to dumb luck who gets who first.
And thinking you can prepare for something that is all down to chance is even more ignorant than that. It’s not hard.

^ This.

I was all “how’d he get 2,741 if he only played 590 games?!?”
Ts firebird: 176
Ts pull: 193
Team slayer only please, that way numbers are not skewed by dinoblasters and other funny gametypes.

I am not sure if you can do it on Waypoint as Waypoint only seems to have basic stats.
Oh…TimZaRob…
Maybe you should edit your OP to tell them to check on HaloTracker as it is much better for these types of stats.
Games Played: 705
K/D: 2.61
Win Percentage: 81.84%
Pull Medals: 185
Firebirds: 5
Kills: 15702
K/D: 3.02
Win%: 90.49
Games: 1072
Pulls: 1329
Firebirds: 593
And this was in aid of?
p.s I use Bumper Jumper, so it really isn’t hard to BJ jetpack.
