jet pack! back for another round. what better way to make otherwise serious playlists into joke playlists than adding the ability to fly around like faeries!

What do you mean what’s wrong with Hologram? It’s overpowered as a team could potentially double their roster! Imagine a big team game with the enemy team all using Hologram! 8 vs 16 isn’t fair!
No in all seriousness, I don’t know why anyone could justify complaining about Hologram. Jet Pack is the AA I hate most, much more so than Armor Lock.

You don’t know that. Even in Reach its not entirely true. You choose and AA, and by doing so have lost the chance to use a different AA. That’s still fair, that’s still balance. I will grant you some AAs in Reach are unbalanced, but that does not mean it can’t be done correctly.
The only AA i had any problems with in Reach was the Armor Lock and they already said its gone so I’m happy

It can’t be done correctly unless they are map pickups where everyone has equal chance of getting them.
All the aa’s were good. They just should of been pick ups

Yes I have a problem with any AA off spawn given that people have more than one option.

How is it unfair when everybody has it? And invis might be bad, just like it was in Reach, jetpack might be more of a thruster than Reach’s actual jetpack too. Oh and the hologram is also useless garbage.
Wanna know the best part: You’ll have to buy them so we won’t even be given the chance to spawn with what we want. AKA further wrecking equal starts. Aint it grand?

Why so close-minded? And even as loadouts, everyone has the chance to get them.

It’s unfair because people can have different ones. If it was all the same sure I guess that’s ballanced but could still ruin gameplay.

You’re assuming this is full integration like Reach, but there is strong evidence to the contrary.
The thing about armor abilities being different…each is more useful for a different playstyle and situation. You can’t (shouldn’t) pick one and expect it to be the “everything is easy I am the unstoppable master of the universe now” button. You pick what you’re comfortable with or most effective with or what you think suits the map better. Then if that does not work, you can pick a different one when you respawn.
Sprint/evade felt more useful than others during reach, but now everybody has sprint so that’s a non-issue. You can focus on a utility ability that matches how you play. It doesn’t give you an advantage that can’t be quickly matched by anybody else in the game if they respawn and choose the same ability. Unless they are bad at it, in which case they aren’t losing because of an unfair armor ability but instead because they are just bad at halo, or trying to adopt a playstyle that doesn’t work for them.
