So there are a few videos on youtube of a guy using jetpack while holding a shotgun. What I noticed is that instead of going up and being able to go everywhere, it’s mainly for horizontal. I’m not sure if you are able to move to the side however, it makes since for 343i to make this so. Thruster keeps you ground level and is and advantage to precision weapons and needler but to a rocket, not so good. Jetpack is the opposite UNLESS your flying by a wall. -_-
I hope it just a back a forth thing. It will give some advantage to people using it but in the same sense NOT be to OP’d or annoying. One weakness I can see this having is the sticky detonator.
they better tune the jet pack down in reach it wasnt even done right, it was just as annoying as that rubbish Armor lock, now nobdy want pieces of -Yoink- like that do they?
the jetpack needs work if its to be included it was just as horrible as that other excuse of an AA, armor lock, whats next a little propeler that pops out of the spartans head?
> the jetpack needs work if its to be included it was just as horrible as that other excuse of an AA, armor lock, whats next a little propeler that pops out of the spartans head?
> Well, like I said, It’s a horizontal armor thruster except in the air.
OMG, I love 343 if they changed the jetpack into something like this. The different moves you could do would be amazing! This is how I envisioned “thruster pack” to be but I guess its just more a nerfed evade.
> That build was so old lol. Cant really speculate on whats already changed
I have never seen the jetpack in HR, propel somebody forward like that to where you could “leap” over someones head. Its definitely changed in that build, at least we can hope so…

The one in my video? Maybe, but I doubt it will have changed dramatically in 1 month, if at all. The jetpack in OP’s video is just as it is in Reach. He doesn’t leap over anyone’s head, he was already in in the air when the clip started. And he doesn’t fly horizontally, he flies straight up and forward. Just like the Reach JP.

You could be right…in that case its going to break maps just like in Reach.

Maybe, maybe not. It depends on the map designs, and just what has been altered in the JP. They did say all of the AA’s have been changed in some way, we just don’t know how yet.
But really it’s not that big of a problem. If there is a Jetpacker, shoot him. Simple. I never quite understood how it breaks map control; I’ve never had that problem.

You dont understand me.
the most recent build we have seen(E3, Comicon, RTX, 343 videos etc), is 3 months old according to Frankie.
