as if this isn’t bad enough, it doesn’t even sound like the announcer from previous Halos. Jeff puts so much emphasis on each word that it sounds forced and awkward. This is especially the case when he says “flagsassination” or “double kill”.
It sounds more like someone taking the piss out of Jeff, than Jeff himself.
Anyone who insults the the jeff-inator is a heretic who must be purged without mercy.

I haven’t heard him in any of the videos thus far.
So, you’d rather have the same monotone announcements that we’ve had for the past 4 games?
Count me out, Jeff sounds amazing in this game. Each game I wonder “How can they make Jeff Steitzer sound even better? Surely they can’t” and then they do.
He sounds too excited in Halo 4.

He also (as you pointed out OP) has way to many useless lines!
especially “You’ve got the ball” I’m pretty sure I would realise that if i was LOOKING AT MY DAMN SCREEN…
The oddball gameplay definitely turned me off. I can deal with the Flagsassination, and the text for each kill and everything but come on. Its getting to be a bit too much… don’t make halo a joke
