OK, I have never complained about this game once. I laughed at those who did. I loved all the other Halo’s and Halo CE changed my life forever.
My issues with Halo 4 that are forever there:
-Spartan Ops always lags!
-Settler is always played. I hope 343 didn’t make this map as it is easily the most boring and uninteresting Halo map I have ever played. The worst part is people keep wanting to play it! I don’t get it. To many open areas. The map just doesn’t have anything unique to it.
-Action sack: I don’t want to play lightning flag. Ever! But it pops up all the time. I don’t want to play “Simple Map” or whatever it is called. I want to play the original maps! They are not boring and dumb.
-Swat: Stop it with the Plaza and whatever the other one is. These maps are seriously useless and just feel like generic FPS maps.
The thing about all these maps finding there way into the games is that it happens to often. WAY TO OFTEN! It takes me long enough to find a game these days with the lower number of players and over half the time I have to back out because one of these maps is selected. I mean seriously the maps that shipped with the game are just fine and way more dynamic, but I keep getting shafted!
I’m trying not to sound to crazy about all this, but I won’t play Halo 4 anymore. I could deal with not playing Spartan Ops online, but now the multiplayer is just frustrating and ruined because of the constant map selection of boring crappy maps.

I agree with you man. the only place custom maps should be is in Grifball. I used to love playing online on Reach until they threw in all those custom made maps.
Not only are the forge maps garbage(From literally every angle you look at it at), they have huge issues with frame rate while two people are playing.
They’re easy to glitch out of, people stay getting on top of the these maps.
The remake of Lockout is HORRIBLE and just doesn’t fit in Halo 4 unless running is disabled. (Slayer Classic anyone?)
The spawns on the Lockout remake are horrific, once you’re stuck on elbow spawn against a set up team it’s completely hopeless to break out of. You might as well quit right then and save your K/D the abuse.
I don’t know how anyone can hate Settler. It’s basically exactly what Ragnarok SHOULD have been.
Speaking of Ragnarok, it is by far the worst map in the game. It worked in Halo 3 but DMRs and sprint completely ruin it. Plus adding in the 2 mantises in addition to the banshees makes it a complete vehicular -Yoink!-. The laser spawns like once a game on the hill where you have to climb on the bodies of your thousand teammates who died trying to get to it while being slaughtered by all the vehicles. And H4 doesn’t have a missile pod which would be perfect for killing mantises. Awful, awful, AWFUL map.
And why the hell do people in multi-team always vote for SWAT on Ragnarok every time it comes up? Do you people ENJOY being spawn killed for 12 minutes straight?
