Jazwares Halo SC Series 3 Master chief review

Hey there Halo fans!!! For those who collect or are interested in the Spartan Collection figures, I have some promising news! At Target last night, I found the new Series 3 Master chief.
This new master chief includes: battle damaged armor, plain visor, grapple shot accessory, new halo infinite SAW ((?)), and exchangeable hands for posing.
Now, reviews and over all info on the series 3 figures remain elusive, but I can tell you everything you might want to know before purchasing.
#1- Omgosh the plastic is so much better. Cheap and brittle plastic was mainly used for the first and second wave of Spartans in the line but this plastic is so good.
#2- The paint job is lovely. It is accurate battle damage and detail. Not exactly mcfarlane grade but good enough to look great. This figure by far has the best detail of any other Spartan collection chiefs. But weathering job ranges of the different retail figures so make sure to pick out the best looking one for you!
#3- articulation is great for posing but not so much for anything else. Ok guys these figures are not meant to be played with heavily unless you want to break them within 24 hours. The joints can even come loose out of box and are very easily loosened. But for statues and poses they are great. Definitely looking good on my shelf. Weapons mobility are not good.

OVERALL THIS IS A GREAT COLLECTIBLE.
I am looking forward to getting noble six and Spartan Palmer. If they release a carter and Jun I’d be all over that. Looking great jazwares!!!

I’m pretty bothered they did away with the reflective visors. The reflective visors really sold it for me back in the day with the joyride figures. Hoping Jazwares reverses this change.

Well I think they did it because of the plastic used. Not necessarily a design change as much as a quality improvement. And there’s like 5 other chiefs with the reflective visor. I honestly don’t mind the change but the visors were definitely unique

Neat, thanks for sharing the info! (:

Jazwares is doing an amazing job with Halo. The Spartan Collection figures are my favorite. There are also some really great products coming down the pipeline! I can’t wait to see what everyone thinks!

Sounds like you know a few things we don’t

Just picked up Palmer from series 3 and pleasantly surprised. The fingers on the trigger finger hand are separated meaning, each finger can be moved to grip a weapon. The series 2 figures all lacked a trigger finger hand which meant they struggled to hold their weapons properly, especially Jerome whose hand couldn’t even fit in the trigger guard for the magnum. I haven’t checked out any other Spartans from series 3, but hoping they all have better trigger hands like Palmer.
