Frank o’connor replied to someone asking if there will be infection in the january update. He replied no, but the january update is sweet update info is coming really soon
if anything i dont really care for infection. i just want the ability to change teams in a custom match IN GAME so duck hunt and such will run smoother than having to exit the game reassign teams then start again

i love infection, but i have also come to terms with how 343 wants to run this Halo. it is geared towards the competitive community so adding gametypes/playlists that would subtract from that would hurt their mission.
you gotta start small and basic like adding an option to switch teams in game (like previous halo titles) in a custom game to facilitate the process into the more complex gametypes

Yeah, but if they just put in infection then they are almost already done pleasing the casual crowd.

Infection is great and guess what? WE NEED IT FOR MINIGAMES LIKE JENGA, DUCK HUNT … SO THE TEAMS RANDOMLY CHANGE AND MAKE IT FUN!
