Has 343i said that they are actually going to end the January 2016 at the end of January? I know they started the season in late December and haven’t seen anything with any communication about it.

Yes they did. In a news feed, there is an article that is focused on January season ending on the 31st. January Season Please read the end of the first paragraph!
I think they said sonething like that, but they also adressed that they will listen to the community about the length of a season. They will adjust it in future time if the majority thinks its too long/short and find the sweet spot. I guess in 3 months from now we will know the exact length of a season. They still try to find the right adjustment
I think Seasons are dumb. It’s better to just have one rank that you can work on throughout your entire Halo career. There have been other threads about this too. At least make the Seasons an option.
