Hello everyone, my little brother is playing CoD BO 2 on his PC and I just noticed that the italian dubbing for Jackals has identical voice and effect to some zombies…that sucks, it would have been better if they spoke human languages more with their previous “animal bird-like cries”

My question is, are the jackals and other races actually speaking english, or is it translation software? Because jackals can speak other languages, especially english, really well

They are really speaking english. In H3, Lord hood didn’t have any trouble talking to the shipmaster, and he didn’t wear any earpieces. What’s-her-name from Hunt the Truth didn’t need anything to to make deals with the shipmistress, who was a jackal. The jackals probably were learning english this whole time and only decided to open their mouths once they perfected the language and their mouths magically changed shape to better suit english pronunciation.
Jackals are more annoying than Grunts. Grunts are just funny.
I don’t think they should talk, at least with their current voices.
Aren’t Jackals supposed to be ultra-smart?

All UNSC/ONI personnel are equipped with translation software as a part of their neural implants as of around 253?ish. The reason some languages were never translated is because they simply weren’t understood. By Halo 6, I’ll be surprised if ANYTHING doesn’t speak English.
I wonder why they wouldn’t just use the old jackal at that point. Oh well I guess.
