@Bs angel
My gamertag is savage silva on xbox live on xbox 360.
The incident occurred yesterday in which a friend and I were playing matchmaking team slayer and upon searching for a game were partied up with people claiming they were friends with the top tier of 343 members. We ignored them and proceed to discuss how we did not want to play any of the gametypes available and upon expressing our dislike for the available gametypes we were met with replies such as “you sound so tough” “internet thugs” just because we didnt want to play the match and then were told since we didnt want to stick around “Enjoy being banned for a little while” by one of the members who’d claimed affiliation with 343i. We decided to stick around and let our skills do the talking. We lost AND I go to sign on to my account and its banned for a week…so this means to me that those in affiliation with 343i can make a call or send an email telling the powers that be to ban people even if they simply didnt want to play a gametype? That sounds a bit like an abuse of power. I’ve been a member of the halo community since halo ce. I’ve never been so disgusted and so displeased with xbox live and matchmaking in my life. There should be a more judicial system of banning and hearing out every side to the story, not banning people because you dont like the way they sound or if they dont want to play. We talked ZERO trash to these people and they were somehow able to convince someone with authority to ban my account. I’m at a loss for words because I didnt think that something so trivial could get someone banned especially when there was no use of profanity or even hostility on my end. I implore you to remove the ban from my account and look further in to the matter without biased for employees or friends of employees who could be abusing their authority in the first place. Its down right wrong and it completely has ruined the halo experience for me and changed how I look at your system of operations.

@bsangel
The gamertags that were in this game who claimed to be affiliated with 343i and have authoritative power are as follows
[REDACTED]
I do not recall which one specifically said it because it was said quickly followed by the rest of the group laughing and mocking my teammate and I for not wanting to play legendary br slayer on shutout 3/14/14 @ 00:35:44 I have gametype saved there was no tampering on my behalf either. I have a witness as well if need be he will come forward. Its obvious that people can make a call to a friend or associate in a position of power at your company and have people banned for unjust reasons and it needs to stop. I pay money to use xbox live and I’m a member of the xbl community and have been since it came out. This is not how you treat people who have been loyal to the franchise and disagree playing a gametype. Isnt that why your voting system was implemented in the first place? It makes me wonder how many people have been banned for similar reasons and didnt come forward and just put down halo and their xbox altogether and switched to another game/system. Its funny to see so many people still able to cheat on this game and get away with it yet the loyal fans and supporters who come in to contact with someone who thinks they have the right to ruin a game experience get to lose their right to enjoy the game because someone said something was done yet lack the proof and evidence to do so. Again all I said verbatum was “Im not playing this” my party member who I will not name because I dont want him banned for the same reason, agreed and we were met with crass remarks and threats that have come to fruition. Im disgusted honestly. And I will continue to not play gametypes that I dont want to play because its my choice and whether or not someone wants to make a threat does not scare me but I would hope the real people in an authoritative position will take a second look and see that I did nothing wrong besides express my unwant towards the gametype. Funny how someone says you’ll be banned for a little while and it actually happens the one time I didnt even say anything wrong. Id like to see this handled properly and maybe a more thorough approach to banning people as far as investigation or is that too much to ask for? Have a good one. I hope to hear from you soon contrary to what people have warned me of, and that you will hear me out.
You’re welcome to PM bs angel but that is not how bans are handled.
