As the title says, I seen many complaining threads, all with valid arguments and valid points, about how the game doesn’t feel like Halo, about how the game was very disappointing for any hundreds or reasons, but I’ve not seen anything about how they basically butchered the best game type that Halo has ever had. I hate, I repeat, HATE the Flood gametype. They did too much wrong with it, what used to be infection, a versatile, fun gametype that was highly customizable and easy enough to use is now replaced with nothing but the basic, vanilla game type without any of the parts that made Infection great.

  1. You cannot change the infected’s appearance, so you’re stuck with that stupid -Yoink- flood model. Sure, it makes sense in the Halo universe, but that shouldn’t matter. It should be changeable.

  2. You cannot change the Infected’s weapon. This links perfectly to the appearance point, because the sword weapon for the Flood is part of the model. Sure, Flood can get into vehicles, but that hardly matters, since you still lack options! The weapons point makes game types like RUN on Run away impossibly dumb and difficult because the infected gets a lunge, or the Halo on Halo game, with the Mongooses and the infected with a sniper and rocket launcher,is impossible to make now, unless you wanna replace the sniper and rocket with a mantis or, perhaps, a gauss hog.

343, I know you tried with Halo 4, but this is inexcusable. How could you screw this up, one of the all time favorite game types? Ugh…

i also agree, they’ve messed with it too much, even watching the kill-cams, they dont even aim at me and i die, i for one have stopped playing flood.

we should protest and make other people stop playing flood online forcing 343 to fix there broken product like the super fast despawning weapons and secret hidey hole on complex.

There’s just so much that needs fixing. Like the issue with how some code from Call of Duty got transplanted into the game. That needs to be removed.

There is a glich on the disc 2 of COD BLOPS 2 where you get sent to mass effect 2 no joke its pretty funny.

Agreed! Living Dead was possible my favourite playlist in Reach! Flood is ok, but it’s not the same I don’t enjoy it as much.
I also think the flood are little overpowered with there thruster pack. Please please please take it away and replace it with unlimited sprint! Why do flood even have armour abilities anyway? Makes no sense if 343i is trying to make it more realistic…
One thing might I add, I would like to see the non-infected with their own custom colours, not the garish bright yellow that says “Here I am! Now kill me!”

Autarch, your face needs to be removed, I agree that they ned to put back the OPTION for different models in flood, but being butthurt about COD -Yoink- has nothing to do with this topic, I think Halo 4 is generally a step in the right direction, apart from removing almost every variable option and custom option that was in halo 2 and 3. it does need fixing, but it also doesnt need to be stripped even more :L.
